Thom Archibald

Thom Archibald is a native of Provo, Utah. He has played golf since his upstart around 1995. Seven years later, in 2002, he won many FATMAN matches, one of the founding events of the AGA Tour. That summer, he competed in the first ever ILCRICC, which was also his first top-4 performance on tour. He remained without an AGA win until 2004, when he took a two-year break to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Virginia. Returning in early 2007, Thom quickly got back into the groove of competitive golf, winning the 2007 ILCRICC in July of that year to cap his breakthrough season. One month later, he placed second at the first holding of the Inaugural Bay-Area Championship in California. In 2008, he married Brittany Archibald, days after he had won The Independent on the third playoff hole. He continued to amaze critics as he returned from his honeymoon in Mexico to successfully defend the 2008 ILCRICC with a birdie-birdie finish to win by one stroke over his brother, Chris. Thom continues to compete regularly in AGA tournaments. He currently resides in Provo, Utah, with his lovely wife, while attending Brigham Young University in the off-season.
